How Does the Lightester Slim Men’s Wallet Stack Up?
Everyone knows how much I love travel wallets, neck wallets and money belts. The increased bulk inherent in many of these products can be a bit off putting. Sometimes, it’s great to offload, leave your passport and home and roam the streets. There are added benefits to having a smaller footprint when you travel in terms of your cash carrying choice.
The added benefit of being a reviewer of wallets is that you get sent lots of products, from all over the world. Sometimes they work well and I review them. Other times they miss the mark. The Lightester Slim Men’s Wallet isn’t the first slim wallet I’ve used, but it may very well be the last. It’s a no frills, super slim and super smart looking slim wallet. I’m a huge fan of the construction, price and ease of use. Everything is stitched to precision and works well in conjunction with the different elements.
You might be asking how is it a travel wallet? Well strictly speaking, it’s not. It is however, an ideal addition to a money belt. Depending on the way your money belt is is set up, the Lightester Slim Men’s Wallet could slide right in. No more hunting around for the right compartment to find cash or card. Just bring the lightester out and it’s at your fingertips.
Look and feel
The Lightester is really a nice bit of kit. The leather smells and feels great, with enough flex and strength. It’s quite small (a bit bigger than a credit card) and super thin. There are easy to access sleeves on both outer sides of the slim wallet for cards. You can comfortably fit 3 cards on each side before the wallet starts getting too bulky.
Open the wallet up and you’ll find a metal clip and a natural tan leather colour. On the right hand side, there are two additional slots. These slots could be for a lot of different things. I’m guessing coins and keys are the most popular choices. The metal clip also ends in a loop so it’s great for securing anything else you might like to slide in. You could potentially even clip this to your money belt or neck wallet for added security.
It’s actually priced really well too. Although small, it’s put together really well. Will we see a redesign and possible RFID blocking in the future? I hope so!
The Leather is super nice and flexible and for quite a simple slim wallet, it’s incredibly elegant. Has the Travel Wallet Expert been converted to slim wallets? If I have, the Lightester Slim Wallet is to blame! Watch this space as I look at some other high value, durable slim wallet solutions.

It's not often I'm so impressed with a non-travel wallet that I simply have to review it. The lightester is my new best friend. I take it with me in my money belt for longer day trips and just in my pocket once I'm checked in. It's small so be aware if you are used to bulkier wallets. Excellent product.
