REVIEW – Wallet SHARKK Aluminum Wallet with Cash Band Card Holder
Although I try to keep these reviews only to wallets and belts dedicated for travel, every now and then a card holder pops up that I think could complement a travel savvy adventurer’s arsenal. Enter – The Sharkk Aluminium Wallet.
How does the Wallet SHARKK Aluminum Wallet with Cash Band Card Holder stack up?
This hard case wallet is essentially a heavy duty card holder. It holds up to 9 cards (at a stretch) inside and has an elastic strap around the outside for folded bills. Let’s be honest, storing your bills on the outside of your wallet certainly has it’s disadvantages and simply sacrificing a bit of card space on the accordion style interior for some bills would be the way to go.
The wallet is incredibly secure (made from aluminium and high grade plastic) and 100% waterproof however and stands up to some serious RFID testing. If you carry a lot of cards with you and have an alternative location to stash your cash, passport, boarding passes etc then this is product is for you. If you’re like me however and are looking for a more all in one solution, you’ll pass on this one.
The last point I will make is that it is not exactly comfortable to put in your pocket. Its design does allow for some give however and is surprisingly flexible for it’s rigid design style. You’d certainly notice it missing if someone was to try to take it out of your pocket!
